Does the cleaner remove my affiliate tag?
The preserve-tag option is enabled by default. Turn it off when you specifically need an untagged canonical URL.
Why does the cleaned URL look much shorter?
Amazon product identity can usually be represented by the storefront and ASIN. Referral, session, and search-position parameters are not needed for that canonical product path. Variant parameters (th, psc) are optional.
